In 2022, we had the joy of working with young people in Kunya in Kampala to use Futures Thinking in their dialogue with local authorities. Taking on the challenge of food insecurity – imagining a future where everyone in the community has access to food.
We designed two workshops, both for futuring and collective story making and as reporters of the future create news of the future. The second day was with duty bearers and to share, discuss and together with them co-create. It was a great way of helping young people to create more advocacy skills to articulate their view on the future. Challenge to ‘catch’ the local context through a Train the Trainer.
